{hello luva}

It has been a long time and it feels great to be back! I have to say....being without internet has been kind of difficult for me...it's like having an old friend back and I am sooooo happy!! We are now mostly moved in to our new place in Idaho and are loving it :)! We love having the extra space and having family around isn't too shabby either. Taner's job is going good, he freezes during the day but he likes the guys he works with and thinks it's going to be a great place to work. I'm as happy as a clam because I have a huge kitchen compared to what I'm used to and this house (we'll be renting it for a while before we find our house we want to buy) has fabulous light and I'm loving the idea that I can finally get started on a photography business. Whoo hoo!!! I even have a few sessions already lined up and I'm so excited! So, thanks for being patient with me, we're now up and running and I cant wait to see what happens!!! I couldn't post without a few pics so here's a couple of recent ones of the kiddles, lots of love from Idaho!!! :)

{Happy Dance!}

Don't you just love it when the stars align, everything seems to be going your way and one of your biggest dreams comes true???? My husband and I had this very thing happen this last week, he got the call we've been waiting for telling him he got the job he applied for in Idaho!! Whoo hoo!! We've been trying to move home close to family for quite some time now and now it's actually happening. I'm so proud of Taner.....I know it has been a hard decision for him to move home...he loves his job here and will have to make a few sacrifices to go to Idaho. We both know it is and will be the best thing for our family, with all of our extended family near by and raising our kids in a smaller community...it is always what we've wanted.
It's also kind of bittersweet in a way though too....we've made a life here, had our two children here in this little house we call home, made wonderful friends, and have come to love this area we live. So, even though I'm on an extreme "high" from excitement that it's finally happening, I also have a little twinge of sadness that we're leaving this all behind. Am I crazy???
We have a busy time ahead of us, a lot of changes, and a brand new start that I am really looking forward to. I'm also excited about the idea of having some more space to start up a small studio of my own....something I've been wanting to do for awhile now too! So.....keep posted, I'll keep you updated on what happens and how it all goes!! Wish us luck! Much love and Happy Valentine's Day from the Esterbrook Fam xoxoxo

{In Love}

Okay, so this is my Fabulously gorgeous sister who just happens to be getting married in July!! I am so excited for them and our whole family just loves the handsome Mr. "B", we couldn't be happier that they have taken the next step! They truly are made for each other and it was so cute to watch them during our little session. They have such a sincere and very down-to-earth way about them and I know they'll be so happy together. Congrats you two!! Here are just two of the pics we took, I'm really excited with how they turned out, there are a lot of great ones to choose from. I'll try to get the rest done soon, probably after the holiday.....for now here's a sneak peek! Love you guys and thanks for going along with all my silly ideas :) xo, Jen

{Cutie Patooties!}

Can you say Oh my cuteness?!! I have the most adorable nieces and Eli was in heaven chasing around these little cuties. I have picked out a few faves that I love, believe me it was tough, and I have them posted on my photo blog if you want to check them out. As for the rest of the fun pics, I will have them posted on my official website in a day or so and I will let you know when they are ready to view in the proofing gallery. (Kim, Laurie, Tecee and Nana....I'll let you know all the details once I get them up.) I had a great time, and the girls did a fabulous job even though it was cold and poor little "Z" had to be bribed with loads of gum to convince her to smile, it was sooo worth it once she did! Great seeing you guys, hope you like them!

{My Pea in a Pod}

First of all, let me just apologize for how I'm going to totally overload you with pics, I had a hard time choosing which ones I liked......a big thank you goes to my awesome sis April who took these for me and then I finished the editing. I loved how they turned out especially since I don't have any pictures from when I was pregnant with Eli, except one. Can you believe it? The only regret I have is that I wanted to get a couple with Taner and Eli, and a few bare tummy shots, but Taner was gone hunting, Eli was seeing Grandma and there were hunters walking around this area so I was a little nervous about stripping in the tall grass!
So, here they are, these were taken when I was 8 months along and I don't have too much longer now! I'm getting really excited but also a little nervous. How is it going to be with two rather than one, and how is our family going to adjust to all the changes? I know everything will be fine but I'm mostly just anxious and excited to meet our new little girl. I guess I'm also kind of sad to think that this is my last month with just Eli and I'm trying to take every moment in with him. He is my little sunshine and I love him so much, I hope he'll be excited for a little sister too.
Thanks again April, you are amazing and I love you tons!

Idaho!

We're off to Idaho!!! As of tomorrow morning my little fam will be hittin' the road (yep, the road, not the airplane) and making our way to good 'ole Hagerman, Idaho! I am soooo excited to see our family, spend Halloween and some quality time, and to have Eli catch up on some much-needed Gamma, Gampa, and Papa time! Taner is going hunting for Elk for a few days while we're there so I'll have some girl time as well, yay!!! I'm also going to be taking my sister's engagements pics, having my maternity pics done and a few other fun sessions. So, I'll be non-existent for a week or two but check back cuz I'll soon have some fab photos of the trip as well as my sessions. Take care and Happy Halloween!!
xo,
Jen

It's been too long!

I'm finally back and I apologize for taking so long on posting but I've been working on some new things!
I had an the opportunity to visit Tan's sister who is an AMAZING photographer. She showed me some tips and tricks for which I am sooooooo appreciative for and can't thank her enough. So....basically I'm starting a whole new way of doing things and totally excited about putting all her help to good use! Thank you so much McKenzie, you are the best! Here's her website, you simply must check her out......she does incredible work. www.mckenziehansenphotography.com
We then went to Idaho to visit with family and had so much fun. Eli loved hanging out with his grandmas, grandpa and papa! So, I have many more pictures to come so stay posted, much love, Jen
