California Dreamin'

These were taken when we were in Cali and stumbling across these just made me miss the ocean, the warm breeze and watching my little Eli run and jump in all the waves and the sand. He loved it there and we hope to go back this summer so he can get a brand new feel for things. There's several friends I'd like to see as well so hopefully if all goes to plan we'll be there this year. Right now with the snow outside I'm longing for this and also scared at the idea of putting on a swimsuit, ahhhhhhhh!!! Did anyone else lack motivation for exercising this winter? I did....bleh. Anyways, thought I'd share these warm pics for anyone else who has spring fever, it's around the corner and I can't wait!!

We're so lucky!

We are so lucky to have such wonderful family.  Eli loves having them all visit and we feel so blessed when they do.  I finally got these done from Tan's parents coming to visit and aren't they a good-lookin' couple?  They look fabulous and so in love, it was so much fun to spend time with them. Thanks you guys for everything, we look forward to seeing you in October!

Laguna and Oceanside beaches with the Fam

We had so much fun hanging out at the beach with my family.  At Laguna it ended up being overcast but it was high tide so it made for great waves!  We had fun exploring all the tidal pools and enjoying the view. We even got to see the actor William H. Macy!! He walked right by my sister and me and I was too embarrassed to ask for a picture so I had to settle for a really far away pic.  I'll post that later.  Eli had such a good time with everyone and had a huge crush on my sister April, he would have to have her sit by him in the car everywhere we went so he could feel her hair! Such a flirt! I have a ton of pictures of him totally hugging on her, poor thing, she couldn't ever get away! Anyways, I have a lot to show so my apologies upfront for the overload....and I have many, many more to come!

Santa Monica Pier

This place is heaven! The pier had a nostalgic feel to it with all the rides, games and vendors. We had a great time hanging out, strolling the boardwalk and drinking in the beautiful view. They had a memorial set up on the beach in honor of the soldiers we have lost and for the ones we lost this week. It made an impact since there were so many crosses. I am so thankful for their sacrifice and having the opportunity to live in a place where I can do what I love and be with those I love. It makes you think.
