Sheesh!! I had set out do accomplish all sorts of things and go all sorts of fun places and even though we did do some really fun things this summer, I feel somewhat sad that a lot of the things on my "list" didn't get done and there went another summer flying right past me! I have been so behind on documenting the adorable things my kiddos do and say that I had to kick myself in gear and get some of these up even though they're not my most recent ones. </span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:100%;">
<br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:100%;">Mya: Now 1yr and 8 months old and growing so tall! She is so funny- she climbs the rock wall on our play set all by herself, climbs up on all of my counters and puts on everyone else's shoes and clothes. She always wants my "dum" when we get in the car (gum) and eats every last piece in the package if I don't catch her fast enough :) She loves yogurt, melon, veggies and anything sweet and is my little cuddle-bug who thinks she is as big as her brother. She wants to ride his big bike sooooo bad! She adores Eli and is a fish in the water. She has no fear of anything and loves life. She is so interested in bugs and will study them and let them crawl on her all while laughing. She's also a streaker and will take off her diaper any chance she gets so she can run naked through the yard. She has been my easiest napper-she enjoys a nice long nap in the afternoon and smiles when I lay her in her bed. She runs on her tiptoes and has a little princess bounce and skip to it. Her eyes light up and her smile is so big that she brightens any room. I am so in love with this little girl and her cute little pig tails-life would not be near as sunny without Mya.</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:100%;">
<br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:100%;">Eli: 3 1/2 years My soft on the inside and very sensitive tough guy-he's so competitive and hates to lose and if he does it breaks his heart. He is so helpful with his sister and I've caught him hugging her and telling her everything is okay and it melted my heart. He's all boy and loves the dirt, trucks, racecars and sports. He says the funniest things like "I'm getting married tomorrow" me: oh really, who's the lucky girl? Eli: "Mya" hee hee Grandma: "I'm pooped!" Eli: (he walks outside to where papa is) Papa: Where's grandma?" Eli: "She's inside-she poopeded her pants!" and so many other things that I can't even remember. He's so cute! He's been taking swimming lessons and goes on the kickboard all by himself. He's already asking for a pinata at his birthday party (in January) He is very coordinated and rides his scooter really well for so young-we go on long walks on the canyon and he keeps me running so I can keep up with him. I love his adorable smiles and everything about this little guy, he's growing so fast and he's become so independent. He's high energy and full of it! :)</span></div><div>

I have had so many things going on that I've had to put my personal blog on the backburner while I had several sessions to edit, kids to take care of, summer to plan, etc. etc. You all know what I'm talking about but the main reason I have this blog is so I can look back and remember the things that went on as well as little things my kids say and do and so I'm so bummed I haven't been keeping up on it. There's just not enough hours in the day! So, here's a collection of random things we've been up to lately, not everything of course, but a few of my favorites. </span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'trebuchet ms';color:#666666;">Eli is now 3 1/2 going on 13, I swear! He's so independent and so full of energy that sometimes it's all I can do to keep up with him but he's so sweet in the things he does and says. If you catch a rare moment and he actually wants to cuddle or give you a hug, I have to stop everything and just take it in because it happens so quick and so seldom that I cherish those moments. He's so athletic and I think it's going to be really fun to watch him play T-ball and get into sports in the next few years. He's also very helpful with Mya and always keeps me "informed" when she's doing something she shouldn't :). </span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'trebuchet ms';color:#666666;">Eli is tough, he's strong, very strong willed, he's so smart and remembers every little detail about places we've been and can tell me the directions to drive all over Twin, he's very sensitive and easily gets his feelings hurt. I have to be so careful with him if I have to scold him or punish him for some things, he's a big teddy bear on the inside. He has a belly laugh that makes me giggle every time I hear it. He brings me so much joy and happiness. I love him so much and I can't believe how fast he's growing. Before I know it he'll be in preschool!</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'trebuchet ms';color:#666666;"><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'trebuchet ms';color:#666666;">Mya is a little spitfire and is a climbing monkey! She is now 1 1/2 years old. She'll climb anything and I have to watch her like a hawk :) She will also eat anything-rocks, game pieces, and so many other things. She's talking a lot more and loves bugs and doing anything that her brother can do. She loves to dance and jump and likes to tell me "no". She also likes to take your ice from your drink, run around with no shoes and be naked. She has a great sense of humor and thinks everything is so funny, wakes up in the morning so happy and is such a joy. She also hits lately, but turns right around and hugs you. She throws lots of things in the trash and in the toilet and is always into mischief. She is so full of life and I just love watching her explore and discover new things. It's amazing how different both boys and girls are...I love them both!</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'trebuchet ms';color:#666666;"><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'trebuchet ms';color:#666666;">So, here's a few from Redfish Lake, from around Easter time, at the park and then just recently here in July out in the summer sun. Sorry it has been so long, I will try to be better and update the blog more regularly!</span></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><a href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5278/5896412520_13ca343149_b.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; I turn around and Mya is now saying all kinds of little "words" and Eli has been saying lots of very profound things that sometimes make me think he's too smart to come from me, lol. Eli is very intuitive and he picks up on the littlest details and emotions that I have to be careful sometimes because he's becoming so much older than his age. Mya is a little spitfire and has quite the sassy attitude these days. She loves to dance and shake her booty to any beat that comes on and steals Eli's toys he's playing with when he looks the other way. He has a bowling set that he loves and he sets up all the pins so patiently and meticulously and the minute he turns around to grab his ball she runs as fast as she can to grab one of the pins and then bolts for either Taner or me to save her from Eli, laughing the whole time. It cracks us up. </span></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia;">She's now telling me "no" on everything and she has this look she gives me if the food I fix for her is not what she wanted. She even threw our remote in the trash. But then she's such a snuggler and a lover and we just can't get enough of these two. </span></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:georgia;">Just this morning I asked Eli what he thought he wanted to be when he grew up and he thought about it really hard and then said ".....not batman......... just a man". I thought these were so stinkin' cute when Eli picked out the coloring package at the store, I had never seen them. Eli had a blast making them very "scaryish" and I think nothing says Easter like some orange hair, crazy eyes and a toothy smile. </div><div>Gotta love it!</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><a href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5226/5636314976_da05bbeb06_o.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 800px; height: 528px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5226/5636314976_da05bbeb06_o.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>Jenny Esterbrook Photographyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04852231948676907374noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4373938982478634304.post-47767951231330162552011-04-07T09:22:00.000-07:002011-04-07T09:45:22.988-07:00Is it Spring yet?<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#333333;">I've been so excited to see signs of spring and green grass starting to grow!! Spring is definitely on it's way and I just had to get some Easter pictures of these little rugrats to get us in the mood. It's been so nice lately, we've been raking, playing outside in our t-shirts even though we should still be wearing our coats, and leaving all the windows open to enjoy the fresh air! Sadly though, I woke up to a new blanket of snow on the ground and I thought I would be really depressed about it but actually we're just enjoying the last bit of winter while we can since it won't be long before it's all gone. Being back in Idaho with all the seasons has been a fun change and also a challenge with keeping the kids busy but I just love it here and couldn't be happier. I hope you are all enjoying the signs of spring andI hope you have a wonderful Easter with family and friends.</span></span></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><a href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5147/5598397140_4b36dfeb52_b.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 800px; height: 569px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5147/5598397140_4b36dfeb52_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5106/5598390350_da61491bac_b.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 536px; height: 800px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5106/5598390350_da61491bac_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5186/5597809201_5e69d084f4_b.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 551px; height: 800px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5186/5597809201_5e69d084f4_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5070/5597816467_eaef5da3b6_b.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 536px; height: 800px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5070/5597816467_eaef5da3b6_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5146/5597810463_6f9b96bf8e_b.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 536px; height: 800px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5146/5597810463_6f9b96bf8e_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5023/5597815965_5fe4134bea_b.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 526px; height: 800px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5023/5597815965_5fe4134bea_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5149/5598395612_4b31e80a28_z.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 512px; height: 640px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5149/5598395612_4b31e80a28_z.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>Jenny Esterbrook Photographyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04852231948676907374noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4373938982478634304.post-26641428388030481382011-03-21T21:56:00.001-07:002011-03-21T22:05:32.331-07:00Mya<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">Mya is such a big girl now! She's into everything, loves to dance, sing and really quite the character. She has some major spunk and personality and definitely lets you know when she wants things done her way. She's my little cuddlebug and loves to give kisses. She's also my miss mischief and can be found eating all sorts of things, pulling out my tulips and putting the remote in the trash. Life is exciting around here and I just love how she brightens every spot in our house. We just love her to pieces. :) I had to add some pics I took of her today, this is typical Mya-- who used to have ponytails but has pulled them out, loves to go streaking and always pulling off her diaper while giving us her melt-your-heart smile. She's trouble I tell ya! Love her!</span></span></div><div><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5184/5548783361_a1703358cc_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 545px; height: 800px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5184/5548783361_a1703358cc_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5017/5548783625_7bec1e5448_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 536px; height: 800px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5017/5548783625_7bec1e5448_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5139/5548783965_40b1b4aab8_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 536px; height: 800px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5139/5548783965_40b1b4aab8_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5225/5548784497_4931cc3a3d_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 536px; height: 800px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5225/5548784497_4931cc3a3d_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5229/5549368336_b947f62a4b_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 800px; height: 591px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5229/5549368336_b947f62a4b_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5013/5548784705_a56b154e06_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 535px; height: 800px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5013/5548784705_a56b154e06_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5013/5548785323_04a6851a86_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 536px; height: 800px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5013/5548785323_04a6851a86_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>Jenny Esterbrook Photographyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04852231948676907374noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4373938982478634304.post-91967155754096295732011-03-02T19:40:00.001-08:002011-03-02T19:52:13.100-08:00Eli's 3rd Birthday<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:large;">This has taken me WAY too long to post and I thought I'd better get caught up on all of my personal photos before the end of this month, March is already getting to be really busy! For Eli's 3rd birthday (can't believe my little man is 3) we went tubing at the county line and had so much fun! The weather turned out great and everyone loved riding on the tubes and the snowmobiles. Tan and I even took a few rides on a tube and almost thought we were going to die one time, hee hee. We took the wrong side down with all tons of rocks but were laughing so hard when we stopped-it was great!</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:large;">I was so bummed I didn't get more pictures but I was actually watching Mya and making sure everything was running smoothly with the food, heaters and birthday cake. At least I snapped a few and Eli loved every minute of it! I think he especially liked the snowmobiles with his dad. The birthday was a success and thanks to everyone for such a great turnout and for all the help, we have the best family EVER!</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:large;">Love you Eli :)</span></span></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5297/5492984459_9b732314cb_z.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 640px; height: 478px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5297/5492984459_9b732314cb_z.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5212/5493576834_5c846f89ff_z.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 640px; height: 429px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5212/5493576834_5c846f89ff_z.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#0000EE;"><u><br /></u></span></div><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5297/5493576664_70c44656e0_z.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 640px; height: 581px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5297/5493576664_70c44656e0_z.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5018/5492984777_617456553a_o.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 846px; height: 567px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5018/5492984777_617456553a_o.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5055/5493576746_87ee5e9945_z.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 640px; height: 592px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5055/5493576746_87ee5e9945_z.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5100/5493576998_098dc886eb_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 900px; height: 600px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5100/5493576998_098dc886eb_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>Jenny Esterbrook Photographyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04852231948676907374noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4373938982478634304.post-77957998776977962892011-03-02T05:44:00.000-08:002011-03-02T05:56:57.521-08:00California Dreamin'<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">These were taken when we were in Cali and stumbling across these just made me miss the ocean, the warm breeze and watching my little Eli run and jump in all the waves and the sand. He loved it there and we hope to go back this summer so he can get a brand new feel for things. There's several friends I'd like to see as well so hopefully if all goes to plan we'll be there this year. Right now with the snow outside I'm longing for this and also scared at the idea of putting on a swimsuit, ahhhhhhhh!!! Did anyone else lack motivation for exercising this winter? I did....bleh. Little Lovelies by Lynn is still in the works, but she does amazing work! You should definitely go check it out. Here's the site.....<a href="http://www.littleloveliesbylynn.blogspot.com">www.littleloveliesbylynn.blogspot.com</a></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5018/5482795590_548e3c6274_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 900px; height: 600px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5018/5482795590_548e3c6274_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5093/5482201087_4d89c6599f_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 899px; height: 562px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5093/5482201087_4d89c6599f_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5178/5482795090_65238166d1_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 899px; height: 648px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5178/5482795090_65238166d1_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5298/5482794604_74000c4b97_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 900px; height: 900px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5298/5482794604_74000c4b97_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>Jenny Esterbrook Photographyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04852231948676907374noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4373938982478634304.post-9272972132074131982011-02-23T21:29:00.001-08:002011-02-23T21:42:50.958-08:00Superman<div>This picture pretty much sums it up........Eli is superman! First off, sorry he's in his underwear, I know that it might be considered a little inappropriate for me to showing this online however this is truly how he spends his day and I have to smile when I see this picture. I guess you're lucky, most of the time he's running around naked, so you got the mild version :) This guy keeps me on my toes and is such a special part of my day. Mya and I have been sooooo sick this last week and he was so sweet and would ask me every morning, "how you feeling today mommy?" and would bring me drinks and blankies and was such a good nurse. Love him! </div><div>I think we're finally feeling better, thank goodness and we can get back to our normal lives. You should've seen the pile of laundry I had to tackle, SCARY!! Tan did his best to keep on top of the necessary things that needed to be done around the house and I was so thankful but now I need to dig in and get my house back in shape and really deep clean everything. I guess I have my "superman" to help me, right? hee hee Oh, and yes, this is from right before Christmas-ha ha! You were probably thinking I liked to keep my stockings up all year round :)</div><div><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5135/5473186852_5749917209_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 450px; height: 672px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5135/5473186852_5749917209_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>Jenny Esterbrook Photographyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04852231948676907374noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4373938982478634304.post-48459487450751659922011-02-10T21:40:00.000-08:002011-02-10T21:57:49.022-08:00Show some love<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">I'd say it's about time for a post, sorry it's been so long, it's just been busy around here! First of all I have to say congrats to my brother and his wife on their new baby boy, he is so adorable, has tons of dark hair and I'm so excited to be an Aunt!! It's the first time on my side of the family that I get to be an aunt and my kiddos are so excited to finally have a BOY cousin! I can't wait to go and meet him and I'm hoping we will be the end of next week.</span></span><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">In other news, you should go and check out my amazing sister-in-law's new blog for her flower shop, it's fabulous and they have the best flowers for Valentine's Day. Ask for Brandee, she's the bestest! Here's the link: <a href="http://www.philsflowers.blogspot.com/">www.philsflowers.blogspot.com</a></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;">And of course I can't post without sharing a few pics of my littles, especially for Valentine's Day-they are the love of my life. Some of these are pretty hilarious, especially where Mya is not too happy about getting some love from her brother, she's quite the little drama queen these days. :) She doesn't have any problem letting you know what she wants and we are always laughing at her funny little expressions. Eli has been so good with her, he's really been a big help around the house and I feel so lucky to have him. He's really growing up and becoming so independent-I love hearing all of his stories and he shows me how big his muscles are each day.</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;">Here's my little Valentines, gotta love 'em! Hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day with the ones you love.</span></div></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;">Oh, and I guess I should thank Brandee for such a cute idea on an outfit, I had the same shirt she had used with Izzy and had never thought to put it with this skirt! Love it and yes I had to copy. Sorry! ha ha</span></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4108/5435623684_eee46e4700_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 900px; height: 622px;" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4108/5435623684_eee46e4700_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4134/5435623650_a0ea75022d_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 900px; height: 671px;" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4134/5435623650_a0ea75022d_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4080/5435013377_856cf863be_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 899px; height: 462px;" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4080/5435013377_856cf863be_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5057/5435013459_736238e2ab_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 899px; height: 673px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5057/5435013459_736238e2ab_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5176/5435623482_d0f60c17f0_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 900px; height: 671px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5176/5435623482_d0f60c17f0_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4094/5435013271_28ed1cd35a_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 900px; height: 671px;" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4094/5435013271_28ed1cd35a_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;"><br /></span></div>Jenny Esterbrook Photographyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04852231948676907374noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4373938982478634304.post-61519576355730391752011-01-26T22:28:00.001-08:002011-01-26T22:52:17.501-08:00Just Chillin'<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;">Yesterday was a very hectic day and it all started with a doctor's appointment that I had previously scheduled for both kids ending up being at an earlier time than I had planned. For some reason I felt like I should call in and double check and lucky I did because we ended up having to drop everything that second to make it there in 10 minutes! I had no shower, no makeup, the kids' hair was all crazy-funky and who knows what we were wearing, we probably looked homeless or very very ill to most people in the waiting room but I didn't know anyone there so it was all good. To make things worse, both of them were due for shots and I thought Eli would take it pretty well but we ended up having to bring another nurse in just to hold him down (sounds terrible, I know) and you would've thought he was dying by the screams and yelling, sheesh! Then, that made Mya cry because she was worried for Eli and she was next in line for 5 shots-FIVE!! Poor thing, but she totally handled it like a champ and only cried for a second, during which Eli was still sitting in the chair screaming and wailing. ( you know, that really big open-mouthed cry with tears and major snot running down?) The Doctor had to come in just to see if everything was okay and when we left the whole waiting room looked very worried, oops! So, we left with Eli still crying, me sweating up a storm because of all the craziness, and our fabulous bed hair and no shower. Yikes! </span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;">We all were kind of exhausted after that. :) Soooooo......we thought we'd stay in today and just chill with no where to go and nothing to do. Kind of nice! We played hungry hippos more times than I can count, lots of army dudes, ran circles around and around the couch (they'll do that for hours!), ate "nacks" or snacks I should say, and played in Eli's Buzz Lightyear tent. It didn't matter that Mya ate a marble from the hungry hippo game and somehow one of their toothbrushes ended up in the toilet....it's a day that I get to spend with the ones I love most and that's pretty amazing :)</span></div><div><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5294/5391833359_532b981799_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 900px; height: 600px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5294/5391833359_532b981799_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5252/5392433576_0cc27e6f2b_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 870px; height: 598px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5252/5392433576_0cc27e6f2b_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>Jenny Esterbrook Photographyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04852231948676907374noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4373938982478634304.post-27887041126581284292011-01-23T23:00:00.001-08:002011-01-23T23:08:05.087-08:00Silly Stinkers<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">I've been playing with a bunch of different lighting situations in my "studio" and so guess who gets to be my little helpers? hee hee Even though we're just goofing around I still can't get enough of these cute little mugs. I love every little thing about him and those eyes let him get away with too much around our house :) I'm sooooo behind on all of my personal editing but I had taken these and just loved them so I thought I'd get them finished as fast as I could. It was actually a beautiful day today so we decided to be outside and enjoy the fresh air. It was so funny......the other morning Eli came to our room after he woke up and he always asks for cereal right off the bat. This time was no different except I guess I wasn't fast enough getting out of bed that he turned around in the doorway and said "well....are you coming or what? " I guess I was a little surprised and both me and Tan just looked at each other and cracked up. Yes, I am the cereal slave. Today I had noticed a small scrape on his leg and asked him what had happened.....his reply was "I don't know but it's freaking me out! " This kid keeps me on my toes :)</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">I still haven't even posted Mya or Eli's birthday pics (not that they are super fabulous or anything, but still! ) but I will have them soon. Ugghhh..... I hate it when I do that and I look look down and I have my son trying to get my attention so I will play cars or watch him to a "special trick", things that I should be doing WAY more often. I've known that I have needed to work on balancing my time better between everyday household chores, photography and my family but I think I've been falling short....very short. </span><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#666666;">I was just over at a blog that I randomly visited from a friend of mine and was literally sobbing at a the family's story of losing their only little girl to a tragic accident. It described all that they went through, how hard it was to be without her and I just couldn't help but be so heartbroken for them. It makes me think of how lucky I am to have such sweet children who fill my day with the funny things they say and do, things that I love but also take for granted and would miss so terribly if I didn't hear them anymore. Things like my little Mya hanging onto my legs while I cook, tasting all of my creations and Eli climbing on the garbage can to get to the kitchen counter so he can see what we are making, him running as fast as he can saying "watch me go super fast like Rory, mommy!", Mya saying in her funny little way "Is that?" to everything she sees and so many, many more things that I just don't want to forget. </span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#666666;">The couple that lost their little girl mentioned 2 things that they would do more had they know what was to happen and that was to pull out the video camera and video everything they could and write in a journal either daily or as often as possible so they could remember all the little things that are so easy to forget. That's another typical "Jenny" thing.....I have the journals and so many other projects in mind that I always mean to get done but never seem to finish. I really want to do this and think it's so important for me to write down the things they say because I've already forgotten so much even from this week. I sometimes get frustrated with the things they do and find myself being a little hard on Eli when he doesn't do things the way I think they should be done and after reading that story I soooooo need to lighten up on things. Life is too short and we only have them for a little while before they grow up and will do things on their own. I hope I can hold on to these small moments for as long as I can and remember how lucky I am to be their mother. I know they were given to me for a reason and I hope I can be the mother that I know I should be. They are such a blessing and I thank my Heavenly Father for entrusting me with their care. They bring so much joy to Taner and I and I can't imagine life without their sweet voices, them running down the halls and making life lovely and crazy at the same time. </span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#666666;">Life is beautiful in so many ways. </span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#666666;">Thanks to that family for opening my eyes when I needed it.</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#666666;">You can check out their blog <a href="http://patrickandashley.blogspot.com">here</a> but be prepared for a tear jerker! This took me forever to post but on the 18th our little Mya turned 1 and she was so cute. She got a couple of baby dolls and every time she opened one she would get so excited and rock them and snuggle them-she's all girl! I had decided to make a cake with fondant which actually turned out okay, but it's definitely not near as delicious as the buttercream frosting, that's for sure. I also made chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with pink buttercream and chocolate cream cheese buttercream and they were scrumptious! Martha ain't got nothin' on me!! hee hee I think Mya really liked her party and I'll have to show you pics of that day, instead I decided on showing the ones of her with her special cake which we all devoured after. :) It was so cute, Eli could hardly stand it while I was taking pictures that we weren't actually eating the cake, he really wanted to get his hands on it and was so patient. Eli's birthday is this weekend so it will be fun to have his special day too, he's been waiting for a long time! Happy Birthday sweet Mya, we love you so much and are so lucky to have you in our lives. You brighten our days with your sweet smile and are such a beautiful part of our family. We are so blessed.</span></span></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5043/5325523579_bc5efc73e6_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 900px; height: 600px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5043/5325523579_bc5efc73e6_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5166/5325523309_e0e4175499_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 899px; height: 476px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5166/5325523309_e0e4175499_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5085/5325523495_e6a294bf55_o.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 596px; height: 599px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5085/5325523495_e6a294bf55_o.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5047/5325523409_b8807ceefc_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 777px; height: 582px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5047/5325523409_b8807ceefc_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>Jenny Esterbrook Photographyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04852231948676907374noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4373938982478634304.post-51458419812836958822011-01-03T06:36:00.000-08:002011-01-03T06:50:48.255-08:00Happy New Year!<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">I hope you all enjoyed your holiday season and have had a wonderful start to the New Year. We had such a wonderful Christmas and loved every minute of spending time with all of our family. I feel so blessed for the family we have, we love them so much!</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">Mya is now 1 and I struggled with that thought for a little while but now I'm so excited for what is to come. Eli is turning 3 this Friday and he can't wait for the party-we've decided to have a "tubing" party this year and I'm hoping we don't turn into icicles! Should be fun! He keeps talking about his train cake and it's been fun having him really into it this year.</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">Tan and I had the chance to get away just the two of us for New Year's Eve which was LONG overdue. We had a blast hanging out together and spent the night with Taner's brother, his wife and little Izzy along with their friends up at the cabins in Soldier Mtn. Resort. They were so cute and cozy and I would love to go back there. The view was amazing and the sunset was beautiful! It was a great way to ring in the New Year even though we missed the kiddos. Thanks mom and dad for coming to the rescue!</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">So, here's just a few pics of last weekend, we also went snowboarding which I actually spent most of the time crashing down the mountain-too bad I don't have a picture of that for you, hee hee. The guys went snowmobiling. Happy New Year!</span></span></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5049/5320304220_b308dd0239_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 900px; height: 600px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5049/5320304220_b308dd0239_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5285/5320304334_e0e8a739bd_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 899px; height: 522px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5285/5320304334_e0e8a739bd_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5162/5320304424_e5b188296f_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 899px; height: 401px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5162/5320304424_e5b188296f_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>Jenny Esterbrook Photographyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04852231948676907374noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4373938982478634304.post-18976704009393357802010-12-12T22:41:00.001-08:002010-12-12T23:16:40.904-08:00This week....<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#999900;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">Boring? He's so funny and always jumping from every piece of furniture to the next, climbing every thing in site, and we have so many "big boy" conversations-he cracks me up! Plus, he's been sleeping through most nights without wetting the bed (wahoo!!) and is so proud of himself. We have a few accidents here and there but we are now saving a small fortune from not having to buy pullups-wowza! She's so close and she knows she's almost there-it's been fun to watch her, being so determined. She's growing so fast too and I just love this stage-she's teetery and wobbly and oh so cute. I'm kind of sad that it's happening so fast, but I'm so proud of her and can't believe she's turning 1 year this month. {sigh} Love these kiddos, they mean the world to me.<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5003/5229538706_7734ddfe69_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 446px; height: 670px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5003/5229538706_7734ddfe69_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>Jenny Esterbrook Photographyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04852231948676907374noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4373938982478634304.post-12559084020685601562010-11-20T23:05:00.000-08:002010-11-20T23:18:55.344-08:00Elk hunt<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#666666;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: medium;">Needless to say, Taner has been pretty excited about his last hunting trip with his brother and dad. They all got an elk this time and even though they worked their buns off, it all paid off in the end. I'm so glad they got some pictures and Eli has been talking about elk ever since. There's been talk of mounting and hanging the antlers (is that what you call elk horns?) but I'm standing my ground, I just can't picture them in my decor, yikes! We'll save that for the "manly" game room, I hope, LOL! Here's Tan's pics of their trip, isn't he so ruggedly, manly-man-hunterliciously handsome? I'm diggin' the hat fo' sho! :)</span></span></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4110/5194370398_3ab2459944_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 900px; height: 600px;" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4110/5194370398_3ab2459944_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4092/5193771735_a51095eede_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 898px; height: 451px;" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4092/5193771735_a51095eede_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5122/5193771645_781e45928f_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 900px; height: 600px;" src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5122/5193771645_781e45928f_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4127/5193771845_f986945b77_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 878px; height: 499px;" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4127/5193771845_f986945b77_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4090/5193771915_a67d94c1ec_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 797px; height: 599px;" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4090/5193771915_a67d94c1ec_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>Jenny Esterbrook Photographyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04852231948676907374noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4373938982478634304.post-12012750116238883302010-11-18T22:44:00.000-08:002010-11-18T22:56:48.798-08:00He's got personality<div><br /></div><div>If you only knew how silly, cute and fun this little guy is in person you would be amazed :) He cracks me up every day and sometimes I can't believe the things he says. He's a little ball of energy and never can sit still-I don't think calm and serene are words that come to mind. Sometimes I think I'm gonna go crazy and Taner will come home to find me sitting comatose on the couch with my eye twitching while I stare off into space, but then the rest of the time I'm filled to the brim and spilling out with so much love that I could burst. Why is it like that? He brings me so much joy that I can't imagine my life without him. Life is definitely a roller coaster but one that you don't want to miss-I enjoy every minute with Eli and I'm going to be so sad when he goes to preschool and we don't have as much time together. </div><div>Behold for yourself.......he has so many different expressions all rolled into one little boy-I just crack up every time I see this. ha ha!</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1013/5188590165_33bec030a0_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 900px; height: 600px;" src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1013/5188590165_33bec030a0_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1012/5188590123_964e8a0f24_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 900px; height: 600px;" src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1012/5188590123_964e8a0f24_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4111/5189191080_5a3d6cf0f7_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 900px; height: 600px;" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4111/5189191080_5a3d6cf0f7_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4152/5189190968_3228914798_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 900px; height: 600px;" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4152/5189190968_3228914798_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1001/5188590229_0b58d87e69_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 899px; height: 299px;" src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1001/5188590229_0b58d87e69_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>Jenny Esterbrook Photographyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04852231948676907374noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4373938982478634304.post-57086531144606265692010-11-05T22:37:00.000-07:002010-11-05T23:00:27.377-07:00Happy Haunting!<div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">We had so much fun this Halloween, Eli was really in the spirit of things and loved watching Taner carve all the pumpkins, ha ha! We thought it would be great for the kids, but it turns out us big kids get into it just as much :) Mya doesn't look as enthused about the whole thing, apparantly the dried worm on the sidewalk was way more interesting, and being forced to take a family picture by the carved masterpieces was just not her idea of a good time. Hilarious! </span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">We also had a party, complete with fabulous costumes, delicious treats and of course....the usual "suspects". This was the last night we got to spend with my Grandma and Grandpa before they headed to Arizona for the winter and we are really going to miss them. They lived about a mile or two away and it was the perfect jogging distance for me and the kids to take the stroller and go and spend a fun afternoon. I can't tell you how many times we've had them over and we've been over to their place, enjoying the summer and hanging out. They are so much fun and were great to have as last-minute babysitters if you know what I mean :). Who will I harass now? ha ha </span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">So, needless to say I was quite sad to see them go and then Taner left soon after to go on a week-long hunting trip so I've been missin' the hubster a bit these last few days. Wow, talk about a pity party, sheesh! Moving on! LOL</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;color:#333333;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">We had a blast at our party and then went trick-or-treating and Eli was a pro! He didn't even want any of us to go up to the door with him and he got the idea pretty quick. It was perfect weather, perfect company and such a great time. I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween as well!</span></span></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4106/5150596448_eafff1ff11_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 747px; height: 499px;" src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4106/5150596448_eafff1ff11_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>Lovin' me some Grim-Reaper, ha ha!<br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1377/5149986489_f9a4c6ed50_b.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 900px; height: 671px;" src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1377/5149986489_f9a4c6ed50_b.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>Oh, and these "bag-head" costumes were so great!
