Idaho!

We're off to Idaho!!! As of tomorrow morning my little fam will be hittin' the road (yep, the road, not the airplane) and making our way to good 'ole Hagerman, Idaho! I am soooo excited to see our family, spend Halloween and some quality time, and to have Eli catch up on some much-needed Gamma, Gampa, and Papa time! Taner is going hunting for Elk for a few days while we're there so I'll have some girl time as well, yay!!! I'm also going to be taking my sister's engagements pics, having my maternity pics done and a few other fun sessions. So, I'll be non-existent for a week or two but check back cuz I'll soon have some fab photos of the trip as well as my sessions. Take care and Happy Halloween!!

Here's a few from our Fabulous stay in Laguna, just Tan and I. We had such a good time knowing that Eli was safe back with the Grandparents and we were free to explore the beaches and the beautiful, artsy town. We stayed at Casa Laguna which was such a fun, charming little bed and breakfast, it was so quiet and private that it was just the thing we needed for a little relaxation.  We even had the chance to have a massage which we don't get to do very often so it was such a treat! The food there was amazing, I soooo wish I had a picture of the way they prepared all our meals, it was so pretty you didn't want to eat it, but then, you did and it was soooooo good that we stuffed ourselves each time! 

We then got to meet with some friends of ours, Jason and Danielle whom I got a picture of but I'm so bummed it didn't turn out! They are the cutest couple,and it was fun to sit and talk with them and enjoy their company.  It's funny but both Taner and I mentioned the fact that we had forgotten what it was like to sit down and have dinner and actually have an adult conversation, without chasing little "super man" running naked around the living room, haha! Even though we love that......so here's another big huge hug and thank you to Grandma and Papa for babysitting, I will have more of their visit to the beach, etc. soon!

Our last night there we had dinner at the Montage Resort which had an incredible view of the ocean right at sunset.  It was sooooo romantic and I had to grab a pic of my lova, ow-ow!

Here's the last bunch of photos I had from our vacation with my fam....these were on the last day they were at my house and I had to get a few before they left. We really had a fabulous time and Eli misses his "nama" and "ampa".  Thanks you guys for a really great time, can't wait to see you in October!!  On another note, Tan and I had the the chance to have his parents come to visit this last week! They were so kind to let Tan and I get a way for two nights for some much needed R&R in Laguna.  It was so nice to have some alone time! Eli had such a ball getting to see them and we were sad to say goodbye to them today. Eli looked around for his "nama" and "papa" after they had gone and I had to break the disappointing news that it was just him and I for the night....what a bummer!  Mom isn't near as fun as the grandparents, ha ha!  I have a lot of pics to come of their fun visit and can't thank them enough for a wonderful time and for all their help babysitting, etc.  Family is the best!!!

"Wicked"

If you haven't been to see the play "Wicked", I highly recommend it!! The cast was so talented, I wish I could sing like that!  We had so much fun out on the town in San Diego and my dad was so kind and awesome to let me go while he watched little man at the cabin.  Thanks dad, I owe you big!  They had a great time "bonding" together, "man to man". Eli loves his "ampa"! 

Before the big show, we found a cute little pizza parlor that had the BEST margherita pizza I've ever had, YUM!!  I might have to go back just for that.

Vaca part 2, San Juan Capistrano

We spent a fun day at San Juan Capistrano and it was so incredibly beautiful there.  It was so calm, peaceful and relaxing, and so amazing that it was still in such good condition.  We all had a great time and Eli loved running through all the corridors and gardens (and all the roped off areas, oops!)  From there we went straight to the ocean, it was such a fun day!

I took a lot of pics of the bells, they for some reason really interested me. Aren't they cool?

Laguna and Oceanside beaches with the Fam

We had so much fun hanging out at the beach with my family.  At Laguna it ended up being overcast but it was high tide so it made for great waves!  We had fun exploring all the tidal pools and enjoying the view. We even got to see the actor William H. Macy!! He walked right by my sister and me and I was too embarrassed to ask for a picture so I had to settle for a really far away pic.  I'll post that later.  Eli had such a good time with everyone and had a huge crush on my sister April, he would have to have her sit by him in the car everywhere we went so he could feel her hair! Such a flirt! I have a ton of pictures of him totally hugging on her, poor thing, she couldn't ever get away! Anyways, I have a lot to show so my apologies upfront for the overload....and I have many, many more to come!
