Idaho!

We're off to Idaho!!! As of tomorrow morning my little fam will be hittin' the road (yep, the road, not the airplane) and making our way to good 'ole Hagerman, Idaho! I am soooo excited to see our family, spend Halloween and some quality time, and to have Eli catch up on some much-needed Gamma, Gampa, and Papa time! Taner is going hunting for Elk for a few days while we're there so I'll have some girl time as well, yay!!! I'm also going to be taking my sister's engagements pics, having my maternity pics done and a few other fun sessions. So, I'll be non-existent for a week or two but check back cuz I'll soon have some fab photos of the trip as well as my sessions. Take care and Happy Halloween!!

{A Fun Day}

It has been such beautiful weather and any chance to go to the park, Eli is all over it! We even had Dad come along which was so much fun! I just got my new lens I've been drooling over for the past several months and I think I am in love :) Poor Taner, I think he's been tallying up all the purchases we've made for this so called "hobby" of mine and I think he's a little worried! ha ha I keep reassuring him that it's all a good investment so hopefully I can prove him right. It's soooo much fun! He's such a good sport and such a hunk! Love ya Tan!

{Sweet Summer at the fair}

We just recently went to the L.A. county fair and had so much fun! I think Eli got a little tired of us putting him in all the photo boards that had the cutouts for the faces, I just couldn't resist! I love the one of him as a rooster, ha! It took him awhile to warm up to eating the cotton candy but once he tried it he was all over it. I can't believe I didn't have a picture of just how sticky he got but it got dark really fast and we were only there for a couple of hours. We had so much fun having Taner home, just for the evening....lately we don't see much of him-work has been soooo busy!

{Pumpkin Pie Bites}

I am soooooo going to be making these come this holiday season, they actually seem to be easy to make too so I'm game! Who could resist a tiny, mini pumpkin pie? You can find the recipe here at Bakerella, just scroll down a post or two and wah lah! She even has some super-cute halloween treats.

Choo choos

Eli loves his "choo choo" trains! Almost every day we pull out all of the wooden pieces to build a track and he is in heaven. Plus, could there be anything better than playing in your "big-boy" underwear? He's been doing pretty good with the potty-training business, some days are better than others but over all he's getting the hang of things. I'm crossing my fingers it will happen before his little sister gets here, but no pressure. ha ha! :)

As of last last Monday I am now 7 months along and counting! I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone, I guess taking care of little man keeps me busy so I don't have tons of extra time to be thinking about it. We just got our beast of a double stroller last week and I think I really like it! It takes a little getting used to but Eli has a ball riding around in it by himself. Such a goof!!

We're getting really excited for our new baby girl and know she will be here before we know it! I've just been enjoying all of this time I have with Eli, just me and him, because I know that will change and I won't have has much time with him as I did. It's kind of sad, really, but happy at the same time. So, I'm just holding onto any little moments I have with him, he's such a sweetheart and makes me laugh all the time.

I've been married to my wonderful, incredibly understanding husband of 8 years who humors me when it comes to all my crazy ideas. I'm so excited to announce that I have recently been working with the fabulous and talented web designer, Carly from Playful Pickles and now have a new blog for photography! I'm so happy with how it turned out and can't wait to start posting all of my work with clients and from all my sessions.
