Easter

Hope you all have a wonderful Easter this weekend, we've been celebrating with "monster" easter eggs at our house, hee hee! I thought these were so stinkin' cute when Eli picked out the coloring package at the store, I had never seen them. Eli had a blast making them very "scaryish" and I think nothing says Easter like some orange hair, crazy eyes and a toothy smile.
Gotta love it!

..Easter Fun..

Well, I guess it's better late than never, right? ha ha! Sorry it took me so long to post Easter pics, but we had a really good time. I think Eli must have been in about 4 different easter egg hunts, so by the end of it all he just didn't seem too interested anymore. He had a ball with all the cousins though. The adults on my side of the family always have our annual "adult hunt" in the dark with flashlights and this year didn't disappoint. I think there are still about 5 eggs out there that we didn't find....even with headlamps! Tan brought down a huge spotlight to use so we could have the upper hand but right before the hunt started we found out it wasn't charged and we'd have to rely on our own hunting skills. It was a blast and I have to say, it's a whole different ball game when it's in the dark and I'm sure our neighbors think we're crazy! Thanks everyone for a fabulous Easter, the food was amazing and it was so much fun being home this year!! Love, Jen

My Easter Bunny

This year we had so much fun watching Eli hunt for eggs! I'm not sure if he has the hang of it just yet, but by the end of the day he had a better idea of what to do. We went to the city easter egg hunt and he was so excited to see the eggs ( he calls them balls) that once the race started he dropped his basket as fast as he could so he could grab and egg in each hand and then just walk around saying " ball, ball" to all the other little kids. I had to jump in there to give him his basket but by then all the eggs were gone!!  It was so cute to watch all the little ones look so confused at why the adults were yelling, "run, run!!" One thing is for sure though....Eli definately loved the treats inside! We have to say a big thank you to his grandmas and grandpas for the fun easter packages, he was spoiled rotton!
