Fall is in the air!

We found our first signs of fall!!! I love this time of year and even though California doesn't quite experience the type of Fall season I'm used to, I'll take anything I can get! The cooler temps have been so nice for us to play outside and enjoy the weather. Eli has been so excited to play with his baseball and bat so we took advantage of the beautiful day and even found some new friends at the park. We are so ready for you Fall, bring it on!

7th Anniversary

I want to say a big I love you to my sweetheart today...we are celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary and I am so happy and lucky that I get to spend my life with him. Tan is the most caring, loving person whom I am absolutely crazy for and can't get enough of. He has given me the most special gifts in my life, my kids and he makes me laugh all the time. He's been working so much and so hard lately at his job and even though we don't get to see him as much as we'd like we know he's doing it for us and are so excited when we do get to have him home.
Happy Anniversary Love!! Can't wait to see what the next years bring! Mwah!!
P.S. we had the chance to watch Taner compete in a "Lineman's Rodeo" this past weekend and his team won over the competition so they get to go to Kansas City and compete there! Eli got to see what his daddy does at work for the first time and he was so cute clapping for him while watching wide-eyed as Tan climbed up the poles. So much fun!! Way to go Tan, we're so proud of you!!

Happy Friday!

Okay, so today was a crazy day to say the least......one major thing was Eli happened to get into one of our "baby-proofed" cabinets with all of my nail polishes. Somehow, in the short minute I went into another room and came back he somehow broke the bottle open on our bathroom tile floor and then placed it on the carpet in the hallway! It was fuschia pink of course and oh my gosh....there was a lot of it!! I tried all sorts of cleaners, etc. to get it out and while I was using nail polish remover....Eli happened to dump it all out onto the carpet as well. So far I think we might be stuck with a beautiful orangey-pink spot that goes quite nicely with all the rest of the decor in our house. BLAH!! I've gotten over it......I think! haha
Sometimes I let little things like that get to me and then I am reminded of all the other things in my life I have to be thankful for. Like, my mom who always has the solution when I call her up with my frantic "what do I do?" or Taner who is always so sweet and such a good Dad and who I'm over the moon for, our little girl who is on the way.....and Eli who even during his toddler moments is so very sweet and growing so fast! I want to stop the clock and just hold on to all of these moments that are so quickly passing by. So, even when things are crazy I love it!
I also want to give a huge shout-out to my little Sis who's now engaged to a fabulous guy whom we all love, we are so excited for the both of you and I can't wait to come home and do your engagement pics, yay!!! We wish you all our love and happiness!
Hope you all have a great weekend,
xo,
Jen

Play Date

We went to the park yesterday with some friends and I was so excited to find a new place to go to! Eli loved the jungle gym and playing with his friends J and N. They are so much fun and so cute that I had to grab a couple of pics while they played hopscotch and ate snacks. What could be better? Thanks guys for a fun day!

We're so lucky!

We are so lucky to have such wonderful family.  Eli loves having them all visit and we feel so blessed when they do.  I finally got these done from Tan's parents coming to visit and aren't they a good-lookin' couple?  They look fabulous and so in love, it was so much fun to spend time with them. Thanks you guys for everything, we look forward to seeing you in October!

Love these!

Oh my, I fell in love with these at Nordstrom B.P., so I had previously taken back a pair that I wasn't too crazy about and only had to pay half the price for these! woot-woot!  I have really small calves and these actually looked really cute on and I could see them with jeans, dresses, anything. They're about $160.00 and are by Naughty Monkey. (Don't you just love the name, ha ha!) Anyways, I was so excited when I found these, they look even better in person.

More to come.....

There's more to come of our fun trip with Tan's mom and dad,  I just had to show one...Tan was tossing him in the air while Eli kept saying "more", "more"!! He loves his daddy!
